About the Job

The client is seeking a Technical Product Manager/Analyst (PMA) to join our Administration/IT Department. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to understand it's business objectives, collaborating to develop well-defined product roadmaps and requirements that align it's web platforms with business needs. Additionally, you will help plan work priorities and support successful integration to achieve milestones defined in the product roadmap.


As a member of the IT/Development team, the PMA primarily collaborates with the Director of DevOps & The Director of Product Delivery to define product needs, write requirements and provide seamless collaboration across the organization. The role will strive to develop and execute an integrated approach to product development, bringing cohesiveness to leveraging the assets and capabilities of other products in the organization.

This is a contract to hire position with a healthcare insurance industry leader that empowers access to revolutionary cell and gene therapies! Created in 2018 by industry veterans in managed care solutions, healthcare biotech, and transplant management, the client assists healthcare payers—including reinsurance and stop-loss payers, health plans, and self-funded employers—in managing the risks associated with high-cost therapies for rare and complex conditions.

The client offers trusted insights, expert support, and comprehensive services, helping stakeholders prepare for the rapidly expanding growth and costs of advancements in cell and gene therapies and other specialty treatments. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota the client has been growing since its inception, including a key acquisition in the transplant management industry in 2021. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to develop strategic vision and product roadmaps.
  • Create detailed tickets, user stories, and well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with development/IT leadership to refine requirement documents and user stories for development and resource planning.
  • Experience working on Scrum and Kanban teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Coordinate feature release communications and technical documentation.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in all areas of the ETS product lines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficient use of technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is primarily an office role with minimal travel required. The work environment is usually moderate in noise levels, and while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
